MEET CANCELLED! Plans for Hammonton High School and The South Jersey Wrestling Hall of Fame to co-sponsor the Inaugural Sub-Varsity Hall of Fame Wrestling Tournament, with all proceeds to be contributed to the SJWHFO Scholarship Fund, were shelved by the snow over the weekend. THERE WILL BE NO TOURNAMENT this year because of time restraints with the Sectionals a week away. Plans are underway to have the tournament next year. Where: Hammonton High School, 566 Old Forks Road, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
When: Sunday, January 31, 2010. Wrestling begins at 9 a.m. sharp.
Cost: $275.00 per team (10 or more wrestlers); $30.00 per wrestler (if 9 or fewer wrestlers)
Format: Standard weight classes - 16-man brackers (If there are more than 16 wrestlers in a bracket, it will be split into two brackets). ALL wrestlers guaranteed 2 bouts (Teams may have multiple entries in a weight class)
Weigh-ins: Weigh-in at site of your Saturday, January 30th, competition. Weigh-in and Registration/Criteria sheets must be faxed before 6 p.m. on January 30th to: CHUCK KLAUS, FAX: 856-795-9819 (Phone 856-685-9873)
Seeding: Wrestler Rank, record, and separation of teammates will be considered when seeding (no shows will be replaced with forfeits) *-Open to all sub-varsity wrestlers *-Medals to top three placers *-First 16 teams to be entered will be accepted.
